LI Combat Hapkido & Taekwondo Center is proud to teach one of the most practical and effective self defense system ever devised. Originally conceived by Grand Master John Pellegrini in 1992, this martial art finds it's roots in Hapkido, combined along with some of the more practical aspects of TaeKwonDo. Combat Hapkido (known as Chon-Tu Kwan Hapkido in Korean), was the first non-traditional Hapkido style founded by an American to receive official “Kwan†recognition by the World Ki-Do Federation. The Combat Hapkido, under the auspices of the International Combat Hapkido Federation, has been taught to students in more than 250 schools in 15 countries around the world.
Master Mark Bivens, a fourth degree black belt(Dan), and Kyo Sa Nim-Chief Instructor Miss Terri, a second degree black belt(Dan), offer classes in Adult Combat Hapkido, Adult and Youth TaeKwonDo, Kids TaeKwonDo, and Aerobic Kickboxing

Master Bivens has over 25 years experience in various martial arts, with over 15 years teaching experience, and brings a pragmatic, explanatory approach with all of his students.
